Unfortunately I’m not at this years PDC. Would really have liked to go there..
Right now I’m looking for the keynote video, but it’s not available yet. Found some interesting information about what was covered on the keynote at Microsoft PressPass: Microsoft Cloud Services Vision Becomes Reality With Launch of Windows Azure Platform.
Especially three new things [...]

I was going for one session. But I entered the wrong room and got into the room where the session “Oslo”: Repository and Models was to be held. I had considered this session as well and determined to stay. Lucky me! The session before this one was mediocre, this one however was very interesting and [...]

Some inteesting things they showed at PDC:
Windows Azure – The biggest thing presented so far I think. The idea of cloud computing suddenly got somewhat more concrete with Microsofts offering. Time will tell how successfull Azure will be, but the concept is tempting. I got myself an Azure account yesterday and will be doing some [...]

First impression: Oslo is more interesting than I thought it would be before this [...]

Just ended the day with the session “Microsoft .NET Framework: Overview and Applications for Babies” by Scott Hanselman. Have read Scotts blogg and listened to his podcasts at hanselminutes.com and found him entertaining and educating. This presentation was something extra, good overview of a lot of technicques and very very funny.
Geneva is Microsofts new give for federated security. I’m a bit curious how Genevas STS it can integreate with solutions like RSA Access Manager (formerly cleartrust). I have used worked with several clients using cleartrust and it would be slick to be able to easily integrate geneva and their current solutions.
Geneva also had a nice [...]
