Azure and interoperability

Microsoft announced at PDC09 that they will support more platforms than just .NET on Windows Azure. Azure now has an interoperability page where they show some of the options.

WriteSpace on LifeHacker

My friend Johan wrote a Word 2007 add-in called Writespace. Writespace is a WPF fullscreen writing environment for Word 2007, inspired by Dark Room.

WriteSpace got some attention at LifeHacker by The How-To Geek – and now downloads and suggestions start picking up.

Spotify – I’m in!

I just received my invitation to Spotify. Great music, streaming and free. Downloaded the client, clicked on the Bob Dylan icon and Missisippi started playing.

Tried the search. Searched for iron man and immediately got a list of alternatives. Double clicked on the first entry and Black Sabbath started pouring out of my speakers. [...]

Just  need to remember this tool. I have used the trial version with a client and it was a really nice load testing tool. It doesn’t have the flexibility and functions of Load Runner and other tools but it’s powerful enough, cheap and really easy to use.
